About the shortfilm Bodily Signs
Cutbacks are scary. People lose their income and their secure base.
Bodily Signs is a silent film that focuses on our body language in a stressful situation. It is also a hello to Leonard da Vinci and his painting ”The Last Supper”.
How would YOU react if you risked losing your job?
Background: A department manager has gathered his 12 colleagues for an emergency meeting. A crisis has arisen. The company management wants to restructure the business. Departments will be merged and some staff may lose their jobs. It is not yet decided who will be fired, but everyone is worried.
Both sound and image are important in this film. Together, they show the anxiety and intrigue beneath the surface.
Our body language is fascinating.
