Cutbacks are scary. People lose their income and their secure base.
Bodily Signs is a Silent movie focusing on the subtle movements of the body in a stressed situation. It is also a hello to Leonardo da Vinci and his ”The Last Supper” painting.
How would YOU react if you risked losing your job?
Background: A department manager has gathered his 12 colleagues for an emergency meeting. A crisis has arisen. The company management wants to restructure the business. Departments will be merged and some staff may lose their jobs. It has not yet been decided who will be dismissed, but everyone is worried.
Both sound and image are important in this film. Together, they show the anxiety and intrigue beneath the surface and, by extension, the sounds also become the voices of the characters, in this Silent movie.
